On ms. girl's bookshelf: Style Yourself
Just want to share with you the book I read recently. "STYLE YOURSELF", a book of inspirational advice from the world's hottest fashion bloggers. It is a good reference if you are like me who doesn't know the names of the different styles of shirts/blouses, jackets, coats, pants, shorts, skirts, casual dresses, formal dresses, shoes(heels/boots), accessories(necklaces/bracelets, rings/earrings, eyewear, hats, belts/hair things, handbags, etc.
To show you what I mean and how this book is going to be helpful to me, I will share with you a couple of pages that features the different styles of shirts and blouses. Such an informative book, right?

ms. girl's arts and craft - Artsy coasters and placemats made out of recycled papers
I remember the article I read before about making a bowl out of recycled papers... so while I was going through my old stuffs and found the stack of old magazines I had, that idea came to me. At first I started making a bowl, one bowl, just to see how my finished product would look like compared to the one in the article. It was my first time in how many years to do artsty-crafty things, so I was excited to do this and as I was going along, ideas keep popping into my mind.....In the end, I not only made one bowl but a BUNCH of other useful things I need at home... haha.. so aside from a bowl I now have a pencil case holder, coasters and placemats. It may not be perfectly made but every finished product gave me a sense of joy and fulfillment =).
I didn't know that doing artsy-crafty things can give you this much happiness. Hmmm...I might continue to do this. Till the next artsy-crafty project!
*If you are interested to try it, you can also find a lot of references about it in the internet.
