Keep In Mind

Proportion They're best with cropped or ankle-length trousers. (Wearing them with longer pants may look frumpy.) Or try a full skirt or dress. A fitted, knee-length pencil skirt won't create the same flattering lines.

Mixing While this shoe is ultra-classic, your outfit doesn't have to be. Pair with a distressed army jacket or shredded jeans, and pull it off by keeping everything in complementary colors.

Heel Height If you have issues with back pain, select shoes that have a slight heel, not ones that are completely flat. The little bits of lift tilts you forward, relieving pressure on your lower back.
